BOX WARS NIGHT & A NEW AKELA OF THE PACK!

This Wednesday our Cub Youth Leadership Team's careful planning of their State Commissioners Award Activity paid off in the chaotic melee that was Box Wars Night. A leader with a bucket of Jelly Beans went into hiding in the cardboard Battle Maze and the cubs had invited Scouts and Venturers armed with Nerf Guns to fend off their forays in search of sugar. The State Commissioner herself, Elizabeth Thompson attended the event and was very impressed with our Packs ingenuity and behavior. Thanks for coming to play with us Elizabeth! In a shock ending to the night Akela Pat was challenged and defeated in battle by Rahn (Lachlan) who now claims the title 'Akela of the Pack'. Pat will be reverting to his old Jungle name of Hathi The Elephant and will continue to contribute nights to the term program and support Lachlan and his excellent Leadership Team in delivering engaging program for the Cubs. Well done Cub Youth Leadership Team on conceiving and delivering a fantastic End Of Term Activity.
