Elyza's Grey Wolf Hike!
Elyza organised a grey wolf hike following some city landmarks. Meeting at Ringwood East station and catching a train to Flinders St, she led a group of 6 cubs & 1 scout to Eureka tower, onto the Sidney Myer music bowl which we learnt was the home of the "Big Day Scout" in 2015, past Government house where we learnt that the governor of Victoria is also the patron of scouting in Victoria. After that we visited the Shrine of Remembrance where the cubs were lucky enough to hold a WW1 era rifle and were granted front row seats to watch a practice march. Onto the Botanical Garden for morning tea, then back up to the city and a visit to some of the graffiti lanes. After 9km and with a crew of cubs young and old, it was then back to Flinders St station and on the train to Ringwood East.
